As He Bled |
A dark being reigning upon us, He will be taken down soon. Slowly
he feels his power dying. As he faces his impending doom. Hanging on to a little string, He holds his head in
shame. A minor detail turned him about. And he knew he lost the game.
He took his pain like a man. His
mind beating like a drum. His mortal strength dropped from him. As he bled from his thumb.
So destruction
has taken its toll, He disappeared to hide it all. No longer among the fellow kings, Oh how the mighty can fall.
He sees the mistakes he's made, Knowing what he has done wrong. Forever from now he pays his debt. Sorrow
sings his only song.
He takes his pain like a man. His mind now taking commands, His free will has abandoned
him, As he bled from his hand.
He knows where his future is now, He wished he didn't burn that bridge, He
looks around for the dignity left, And realizes, none, not a smidge. So drowning his sorrows on and on, No more
help, he won't even ask. He'll search for his answers in one place, Finding them at that bottom of a glass.
He
suffers his pain like a man. His mind now empty like a hole. Goodbye miserable man, and all you're worth, As he
bled from his soul. |
